Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star boasts considerable social media audience

Kai Trump will have multiple prominent backers as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates multiple golf courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's an even better person. He told me to play, relax, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials commented that her participation helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer has a massive following and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
