The relatives of teens lost after a tragic blaze at a establishment in a Switzerland's alpine town are enduring an excruciating period of uncertainty for official news and requesting information about their family members online.

The inferno ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of New Year's Day. Verified footage depict the ceiling igniting as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.

Authorities have warned that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and wounded another scores more. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with the process continuing to locate the final individuals.

The whereabouts of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are not yet determined, according to an appeal from his family.

The resident of a town near the city, informed a local newspaper that she had gone back to Lausanne to check whether he was in the hospital, while his father did the same in the capital, but could not find him.

"This is a living nightmare, an ordeal. The options are finding my son in the hospital mortuary, or I find him in intensive care. It's horrific," she stated.

She continued that some of his companions had been found with injuries covering a significant portion of their bodies. "There are no words; they experienced a terrifying ordeal."

The Italy's government has said that six of its nationals remain missing.

One of those is Emanuele Galeppini, a teenage promising athlete, who hailed from Italy but now living in Dubai.

The national sporting body has released a tribute that he is dead, without directly referencing the tragedy, honoring a "young athlete who carried with him passion and authentic values."

His parent, is quoted as saying that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around the new year. An official spokesperson has stated that a official announcement of his death is still pending.

Other Cases

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had gone out with a group and ended up at the venue.
